Talking Cars 418: Driving the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

Plus, what does MPGe really mean?

Main theme: The podcast panelists give their first impressions of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV. Mercedes has been on a roll introducing new electric vehicle (EV) models at record pace. The EQE SUV adds to the EQS sedan and EQS SUV and the EQE sedan already in our auto test fleet. Designed to complement the EQE sedan as the EV alternatives to the venerable Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the EQE SUV shares a similar battery and range to the EQE sedan. The team discusses whether the SUV body style suits our testers better than the sedan. And now that we have a full group of Mercedes’ EVs, we debate how they stack up against other luxury EV competition.

Audience question: What does MPGe really mean when comparing EVs to gasoline powered vehicles?
