Talking Cars 411: Driving the 2023 Honda Accord
Our panel also answers audience questions about choosing the correct window tint and why not all vehicles are crash-tested
Main theme: In this episode, the podcast panel shares first driving impressions of the redesigned 2023 Honda Accord midsized sedan. In addition to a new powertrain structure, we found Honda’s inflexible trim matrix makes some features available on lower-priced models, but not on more expensive ones—and vice versa.
Our trio also talks about how Honda has dropped the Accord hybrid model in favor of making the hybrid powertrain the "premium" option, and the only one available on top trim levels. And they dive into what it’s like to drive and live with the Accord.
Audience Questions
This week the panel is presented with two questions. The first is from an audience member who wants to know the benefits of ceramic window tint and if he should choose it over the less expensive options.
Our other question is about why crash test information is not available for some vehicles, such as the Jeep Gladiator.
